Freddie Mac’s Nightmare on Main Street

Imagine our economy is a giant human, the kind you’d find at a drive in movie in the 60′s.  Now imagine Freddie Mac, the mortgage blunder, is a sucking chest wound on the giant human about the size of foreclosed McMansion.

Since 2008 we’ve torched $50-billion tax dollars in the Freddie Mac fiasco and now they want $10-billion more because tax dollar love means never having to say you’re sorry.

Freddie Mac’s latest bite on the taxpayer wallet brings the congressional stupid cash call jackpot for both Freddie, and the aptly named Fannie, to a whopping-mind blowing-kick in the fiscal berries-$126 billion dollars with no end in sight.

This is exactly why we don’t want the government to lay a single finger on our healthcare system because everything they touch turns to cat crap. The Feds don’t care because it ain’t their money.  It’s yours and mine.  Those corrupt political appointees running Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, knew the whole thing was a flat out Ponzi scheme mandated by a thoroughly corrupt Congress. That’s right Freddie and Fannie lined the pockets of every member of Congress with political campaign contributions.

Holder Mirandizes Mad Bomber

US Attorney General Eric Holder dove headfirst down the rabbit hole as the Alice in Wonderlanding of terrorists continues under the Obama Administration.

Rather than take the prudent course of action in regards to Pakistani-born, naturalized US citizen, Faisal Shahzad, of relentless interrogation under the Public Safety exclusion, revocation of his citizenship, detention in a hell-hole of our choosing, and eventual execution.  Eric “Not The Sharpest Crayon in the Justice Department Box” Holder made sure Boom-Boom-Fizzle Shahzad would have the best ACLU creep money can’t buy, the right to refuse to answer questions, and a protracted circus trial in our Federal courts.

I keep thinking we’ve hit the rock-solid bottom of governmental stupid in this country and every day another steaming pile of Federal bureaucrat lunacy gets dropped on my head.

You find the bomb-making material in Boom-Boom-Fizzle’s house, including boxes for the alarm clocks used, fire crackers and a map of possible targets.  You use planes to track his cellphone while he jackrabbits to the airport.  You pluck him off a plane on the runway. He admits doing it.  You find a gun in his car and have a record of him making repeated trips to Pakistan since he was naturalized, what purpose is served Mirandizing the bumbling bomber?

It’s real simple, erect a wall about six-feet high in Times Square on the very spot he parked the car-bomb and execute him by firing squad.

Send terrorists the right message as loud and clear as you can in easy to read bold-face type. For those who like to split hairs over the treatment of unlawful combatants I refer you to the Geneva Convention which only applies to combatants carrying weapons at all times wearing a distinguishable insignia.  I’m pretty sure Boom-Boom-Fizzle’s Members Only jacket doesn’t qualify…

NYC Useful Idiot & Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, concentrated on the kind of liberal hand-wringing that makes me want to puke.  Quick Draw McStupid, without preamble, picked Tea Party members and lawful protesters as the likely bomber.  Boom-berg told Katie Couric the bomb was the work of,

“…somebody with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill.”

Not content with cramming both feet in his mouth Boom-berg saw his shadow again and that means we’re in for six-more weeks of stupidity, “We will not tolerate any bias or backlash against Pakistani or Muslim New Yorkers…” On the other hand he’s happy to tar any natural born Caucasian he can lay peepers on…well played Dopey McDopestein…

Why did we drop a single dime to rebuild New Orleans in the exact same spot?  You build a city in a bowl below sea level on one-side, the Mississippi River on another and an elevated lake behind it?  Add in the hurricane track that plows through the heart of the city and guess what?  It’s gonna sleep with the fishes again.  I guess Spike Lee missed that…

Now we have an oil spill that might foul both the Gulf Coast and the Atlantic shores and what are we getting from President Obama?  Hand-wringing, finger-pointing and dithering.  We don’t need him to fly down to see it.  All he has to do is turn on a TV.  Rather than burn the spill off when it was further out Obama decided procrastination and the complete decimation of the Gulf Coast was preferable to swift action and a plume of oily smoke.

Bomb Found in Times Square

I was shocked to see a “Bomb Found in Times Square” headline did not refer to the current run of the Broadway musical, The Addams Family…

The difference is the bomb in Times Square had the potential to go off, in the Addams Family no such fireworks are expected from its lackluster concept and sanitized for your protection corporate pablum dished up to busloads of eager country bumpkin tourists who don’t know real theater from a genuine Bearnaise sauce.

In regards to the people who did this, whether or not they are linked to terrorists or just your run of the mill mad bomber, when captured we should strap the same device to them and set it off, see how they like them apples.

What most Americans don’t realize is how many bombings occur annually in the USA.  Since 1978 the ATF has investigated more than 25,000 bombings and attempted bombings, 900 accidental explosions, and a whopping 21,000 recovered explosives or explosive devices, (source: US Govt.).

BP Passing Out Free Crude Oil in Gulf

In  the finest example of altruistic corporate largess ever, BP announced it’s distributing free crude oil off the coast of Louisiana.

“We are pleased to give back to communities and people of Louisiana the oil we pump right off their most valuable estuaries, tributaries, bays and beaches…” said R. Bud Mocktuttle, BP VP of Corprate Giving.

“Furthermore we will continue to distribute on a first-come-first-serve basis as much crude oil as you can skim or boom for the next 90-days.”

“Needless to say there are some Gloomy Gusses who maintain this is an oil spill and I hasten to add nothing could be further from the truth.”  Mocktuttle was adamant there would be no lasting environmental impact.

“The simple fact is waterfowl have a long standing tradition of wallowing in crude oil which is mistakenly blamed on the oil industry.  If you went out into your backyard and dumped a quart of oil, in no time at all you would have so many birds rolling around in it you’d think an English soccer riot had broken out.”

Mocktuttle ended the hastily called press conference after answering one last question.

“We spent over $200-million dollars to green wash our corporation last year and quite frankly if you think we don’t understand how many self-congratulatory eco-green-commercials it will take to balance the damage a bunch of tree-huggers do because they see disaster where we see opportunity for the average working Joe to get a bucket of free crude, you’re dumber than we thought.  BP loves Mother Earth so much we want to put our drills, I mean arms around her and hug her so tight she can’t breathe…”

Harry “Lame Duck Walking” Reid came out with his immigration reform plan today and what a shock, 20,000,000 illegal invaders have to get in the back of the line to become citizens.

Ouch.  That’s telling them Harry.  How about they get the hell out of where they don’t belong in the first place?

No work status, no job, no housing, schooling, or medical care.  Take the bus voluntarily or leave in handcuffs, that’s the only acceptable solution.

Washington DC is so far out of touch with reality I wonder if they ever lift their quivering ostrich heads out of the sand.

When the “thousands” of sham immigration reform knuckleheads come to our nation’s Capitol to protest will Nancy & Harry welcome them with open arms?
